Another view.

The Danish flag - maybe it is somebody's birthday.

Life at Langkaer Gymnasium (a high school)

This presentation of a series of photos falls in three parts: our school-life; our city and the neighbourhoods we live in (some students live in small towns outside Aarhus - others live in Aarhus and some in the suburbs) and pictures of the food we have had for supper at home or for lunch at school.
We start at the school and them we zoom out to life around the school.

A Day at Langkaer - cartoon made by Anna and Birgitte

A Day at Langkaer
We have made a cartoon about life at Langkaer. It shows two persons eating breakfast at home, then at class having English. We have many subjects, Math, Danish, English, German/French/Spanish, Biology, Physics, P.E., Social Studies, art class/music/media class and history. We usually meet 8.30 a.m. and our day often ends at 2 p.m. In between we have five breaks, but only two big breaks. Once a month we have a school party – a theme party – with a theme like e.g. “Welcome to the Jungle” where you have to dress out like an animal or a hunter. We have made this because we thought that it could be funny to show you our daily life in a cartoon.
We hope that you’ll enjoy.

Spare time activities - by Bolette, Selma, Josefine and Gitte

What we do in our sparetime!

Welcome to Aarhus by Tine, Madiha and Victoria

Fasten your seatbealts, and don't get dizzy, say Tine, Madiha and Victoria as they give you a spin around downtown Aarhus.

Aarhus-Karachi - project of cultural exchange around Scenes and Sounds of My City.

We had our first virtual session last Tuesday (March 24, 2009) through Skype and right now students in both countries are working on photo/video projects that they want to share with each other.
We had some difficulties during our first session because Karachi had a power-cut so they were running electricity on a generator, but after all we managed a successful first introductory session in spite of the difficulties.
